To cancel a Movavi subscription, find out which billing partner processed your purchase, then use that partner’s portal to turn off automatic renewal. Movavi routes payments through 2Checkout (which may appear as Verifone on your statement), Paddle, the Apple App Store, or Google Play, and each one has its own cancellation path. Once you confirm the cancellation, your license stays active through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and no further charges will be taken.
Find Out Who’s Billing You
Movavi doesn’t always process payments directly, so the first step is identifying the merchant on your card statement. Pull up a recent credit card or bank statement and look at the name next to the Movavi charge. If it reads 2Checkout or Verifone, you’ll use the 2Checkout portal. If it reads Paddle, you’ll use Paddle’s portal. If you bought the app on your phone, Apple or Google is handling the billing, and Movavi’s own portals won’t help.
Before you log in anywhere, dig up the email address you used at purchase and, if you can find it, the order number from the confirmation email. The 2Checkout portal accepts either one. If the confirmation email has vanished, search your inbox for “Movavi” or “2Checkout,” and check spam. Lost access to that email entirely? Movavi offers a Lost Key form to recover account details, and their Support Center at help.movavi.com handles cancellation problems directly.1Movavi. Resolve Billing and Account Issues
Cancel a 2Checkout or Verifone Purchase
Most Movavi web purchases run through 2Checkout. Go to the myAccount portal at secure.2co.com/myaccount and log in using either your email address or your order number.22Checkout. 2Checkout MyAccount No password is needed; the system authenticates you from those identifiers.32Checkout Documentation. Once you’re in, click the “My Products” tab. You’ll see your active subscriptions and their renewal dates. Each eligible subscription has a “Cancel Subscription” button. Click it, and a confirmation window shows the exact date your access will end. Confirm to finalize, or close the window if you want to keep the subscription running.42Checkout Documentation. Subscription Cancellation via myAccount Closing before you confirm leaves the subscription active, which is a common reason people think they canceled but get billed again.
Cancel a Paddle Purchase
If Paddle is the merchant on your statement, use Paddle’s customer portal. Enter the email address you used for the Movavi purchase, and Paddle sends a secure sign-in link to that address, logging you in without a password.5Paddle. Use Customer Portal Links in Your App From the dashboard, open your active subscription details, choose the cancellation option, and confirm. Paddle displays an on-screen record of the change; save it.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
Subscriptions bought through the App Store are billed by Apple, so Movavi can’t cancel them for you. Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find the Movavi entry, tap it, and select Cancel Subscription.6Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
Cancel on Android
For subscriptions bought through Google Play, open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Find the Movavi entry, tap Cancel subscription, and pick a reason. Google stops the renewal but keeps your access active through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.7Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
One thing to watch: if you signed up for a payment plan rather than a standard subscription, canceling stops auto-renewal at the next cycle but doesn’t release you from remaining installments on the current plan. Your renewal date and payment plan status are visible on the same Google Play subscriptions page.7Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
If you’re on a free trial that came through either app store, the same cancellation steps apply. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged, and give yourself at least a day of buffer so processing delays don’t cost you a billing cycle.
What Happens After You Cancel
Canceling stops the next automatic charge. It does not shut off the software right away. Your license stays active with full functionality through the end of the billing period you last paid for, and you lose access to premium features once that period expires.8Movavi. Movavi Software End User License Agreement – Section: 4. Subscription Terms
The cancellation should reflect in your Movavi account within 24 hours.1Movavi. Resolve Billing and Account Issues Save the confirmation email or a screenshot from the billing portal. If a charge shows up after that 24-hour window, those records are what you’ll need to dispute it. Movavi does not issue prorated refunds for unused days in a billing cycle when you cancel voluntarily.
If You’re Still Being Charged After Canceling
This trips people up more than anything else. Usually the cancellation was started but not confirmed. Both the 2Checkout and Paddle portals require a confirmation step, and closing the window early leaves the subscription active. Log back in and check the status first.
If the cancellation actually went through and you still see a charge, contact Movavi’s support team at help.movavi.com with your confirmation.1Movavi. Resolve Billing and Account Issues If that doesn’t resolve it, you can dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer. Most issuers allow chargebacks when you can show you canceled but were billed anyway. Have your cancellation confirmation, the date you submitted it, and the date of the disputed charge ready.
Timing matters. The charge has to have posted, and most issuers expect you to try resolving with the merchant first. Filing a dispute without first contacting Movavi weakens your position if the case gets reviewed.
Cancellation Is Not the Same as a Refund
Canceling stops future charges. A refund returns money you’ve already paid. Movavi’s refund window is 14 calendar days from purchase, and eligibility depends on the reason: unresolved technical problems, activation failures support couldn’t fix within 24 hours, accidental duplicate purchases, or an Effect Set bought without a compatible program (and not yet activated).9Movavi. Refund Policy
Refunds aren’t available if you changed your mind, prefer a competitor, or are unhappy with features that were shown on the website and available in the trial. Products bought through third-party retailers fall outside Movavi’s policy, and you’d need to contact the retailer directly. Payment processor fees and commissions aren’t refunded either.9Movavi. Refund Policy If you’re canceling because you want your money back, submit a refund request separately through the Support Center; the cancellation button alone won’t trigger one.
