To cancel a DeepSearch subscription, go to whichever platform processed your signup: use the Paddle Customer Portal (or email DeepSearch support) if you subscribed on the website, or use your device’s subscription settings if you signed up through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Access continues until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for.
Check Where You Signed Up
The cancellation path depends entirely on which platform took your first payment, so start there. Look for the confirmation email from when you subscribed. If it came from Paddle, DeepSearch’s payment processor for website purchases, you’ll cancel through Paddle. If the receipt came from Apple or Google, you’ll cancel through your phone or tablet.
No confirmation email? Check your card or bank statement. Paddle charges usually include “Paddle” or “paddle.net” in the descriptor. Apple charges appear as “APPLE.COM/BILL.” Google Play charges typically read “GOOGLE*DeepSearch” or similar. For any billing question, DeepSearch’s address is billing@deepsearchai.co.
Canceling a Website Subscription Through Paddle
If you bought your plan on the DeepSearch website, you have three options:
- Open your original subscription confirmation email and click through to the Paddle Customer Portal, where you can manage or cancel the plan directly.
- Use the direct cancellation link inside that same confirmation email. No portal login needed.
- Email support@deepsearchai.co with a cancellation request. Include the email address on the account so support can find it.
If the confirmation email is gone, search your inbox for “Paddle” or “DeepSearch” and check spam. Emailing support is the fallback.
Canceling on an iPhone or iPad
Subscriptions bought through the iOS app are billed by Apple, and DeepSearch cannot cancel them on your behalf. Do it in Settings:
- Open Settings.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap DeepSearch.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Apple will display the date your current period ends. You keep full access until then, and no further charges post after that cycle.
Canceling on Android
Google Play handles Android subscriptions, so cancellation happens there rather than inside the DeepSearch app. Either path works:
- In the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Tap DeepSearch, then Cancel subscription.
- Or open Settings, tap Google, then your name, then Manage your Google Account. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Manage subscriptions.
Follow the prompts to confirm. Google will show when your access expires. Deleting the app on its own does not cancel anything; the charges continue until you cancel in subscription settings. The same is true on iOS.
If You Paid With PayPal
Website subscribers who paid through PayPal (via Paddle) can also revoke the automatic billing authorization on PayPal’s side as a second layer of protection:
- Log into PayPal and click the Settings gear.
- Select Payments, then Subscriptions and saved businesses (labeled Automatic Payments in some interfaces).
- Find the DeepSearch or Paddle entry and click Cancel.
Once revoked, PayPal shows the status as canceled, and no future charges can be collected through that authorization.
Refunds and What Canceling Does
Canceling stops the next renewal. It does not end your access right away, and it does not refund what you’ve already paid. You keep using DeepSearch through the end of the billing period you paid for, then access ends.
A refund is only available if both conditions are true: the request is within seven days of your first purchase on the website, and you’ve sent fewer than three messages through the platform. Three messages or more, or more than seven days since that first purchase, and the sale is final. Partial refunds for unused time aren’t offered, so canceling mid-period doesn’t recover the remaining days, except where local law requires otherwise.
One caution before escalating: filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer may cause DeepSearch to disable or terminate your account. If you believe you’re owed a refund, email billing@deepsearchai.co first.
Watch for a confirmation email after you cancel. Cancellations through Apple or Google produce a confirmation from Apple or Google, not from DeepSearch. Cancellations through Paddle or support come from DeepSearch or Paddle. If nothing arrives within a couple of days, follow up with support@deepsearchai.co. Checking the subscription status in your account or in your app store is the surest way to confirm it went through.
Your Account Data After Cancellation
Canceling the subscription does not delete your account or your search history. DeepSearch’s privacy policy states that personal data is retained as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. To have your data erased, send a separate request stating clearly that you want your data deleted, along with your name and contact details. That request goes to support@deepsearchai.co.
