First, Figure Out Where You’re Being Billed
Check your email for the original purchase receipt. It will say whether the charge came from Chessreps directly, from Apple, or from Google. That tells you which of the three paths below applies to you. If you’re inside the 7-day free trial, cancel before it ends to avoid the $34.99 annual charge. Log into your account at chessreps.com, open your account settings, and find the billing or subscription section. Chessreps advertises one-click cancellation, so the option should sit in the dashboard without retention screens or a required survey.2Chessreps. Canceling on the Apple App Store
If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, Apple is the billing party and the cancellation has to go through Apple’s settings:4Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
- Open the Settings app and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions to see every subscription tied to your Apple ID.
- Tap the Chessreps listing, then tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll to find the button.
- Confirm when prompted. If you see an expiration date in red instead of a cancel button, the subscription is already canceled.
If you were just charged for a renewal you didn’t want, you can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in, choose Request a refund, pick a reason, select the Chessreps charge, and submit.5Apple. Canceling on Google Play
Open the Play Store app on your Android device and tap your profile icon. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Tap Chessreps, select Cancel subscription, and confirm.
Within the first 48 hours of a subscription purchase, you may qualify for an automatic refund from Google depending on the details. When the Cancel Button Doesn’t Work

Can You Get a Refund?
For purchases made directly on the Chessreps website, there’s a 3-day refund window on your initial subscription. Email ethan@chessreps.com within three days of your first payment to request a full refund. After that, subscription fees are non-refundable, and Chessreps doesn’t issue partial refunds for unused time in a billing period.1Chessreps. Chessreps Terms of Service

What You Keep After Canceling
Canceling stops future charges but doesn’t cut off your current access. You keep premium features through the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that period ends, the account drops back to whatever free access the platform provides.1Chessreps. Chessreps Terms of Service
Canceling and deleting are not the same thing. A cancellation ends your billing but preserves your account, including game history and progress, so you can come back later without starting over. Deleting the account removes everything. If you only want the charges to stop, cancel the subscription and leave the account alone. Save the cancellation confirmation email or screenshot in case a charge appears on your statement afterward; it’s your evidence if you need to dispute it.
