Traveler Redress
Travelers repeatedly delayed, denied boarding, or flagged during airport screening or at border crossings can submit an inquiry through the DHS Traveler Redress Inquiry Program at trip.dhs.gov. The program addresses cases of possible watchlist mismatches or unexplained travel problems. Visiting the St. Elizabeths Campus
The DHS headquarters campus is a high-security federal installation and is not open to the public for walk-in visits. Entry requires a scheduled appointment, prior authorization from the office you are visiting, and security screening. Commercial deliveries and freight go through a separate two-step inspection at a dedicated Vehicle Inspection Facility before being cleared onto the site.
Since May 7, 2025, visitors age 18 and older must present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, U.S. passport, or other acceptable identification to enter federal facilities, including DHS buildings.11Department of Homeland Security. Why DHS Offices Are Still Scattered

For now, the St. Elizabeths campus mainly houses the Office of the Secretary, the Management Directorate, and offices handling policy, strategy, and legislative affairs. The Coast Guard’s leadership already sits on campus in the Douglas A. Munro building, completed in 2013.
