An Actitech Limited charge on your bank, card, or PayPal statement is almost always a recurring subscription payment for a fitness or wellness app operated under the Welltech Apps Limited umbrella. The apps most often behind it are Yoga-Go, FitCoach, Muscle Booster, WalkFit, and Femia. The line item usually reads “PAYPAL *ACTITECH” or simply “Actitech Limited,” which is why the name doesn’t match anything on your phone.
Who Actitech Limited Is
Actitech Limited is a Cyprus-registered company (registration number HE 410117) at Karaiskaki 13, 3032, Limassol, Cyprus. It handles billing and payment processing for several mobile apps in the health and fitness space. The Yoga-Go terms of use identify Actitech Limited as the company providing the product through the Yoga-Go website, and Femia’s privacy policy names Actitech Limited as the data controller responsible for processing payments.1Yoga-Go. Two other businesses share the name and are not the source of your charge. Actitech, L.P., a Texas food manufacturer, has posted a disclaimer on its Better Business Bureau profile stating it is “not responsible for credit card charges made under the name ‘Actitech Limited'” and has no association with FitCoach, Yoga-Go, Muscle Booster, or WalkFit.3Better Business Bureau. Which Apps Generate the Charge
Based on the Yoga-Go terms and consumer complaints filed with the BBB, the charge typically corresponds to one of the following subscriptions:
- Yoga-Go, a yoga and meditation app whose terms explicitly name Actitech Limited as the provider.
- FitCoach, a personalized fitness coaching app.
- Muscle Booster, a strength and workout app.
- WalkFit, a walking and step-tracking app.
- Femia, a women’s health platform whose privacy policy identifies Actitech Limited as its payment processor.
These subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period, which can run anywhere from one week to one year, until you cancel. Additional line items can also appear for add-ons like fitness guides, VIP support, or supplementary subscriptions.1Yoga-Go. Terms of Use
Why You Might Not Recognize It
Complaints filed with the BBB describe a consistent pattern. People report being charged after briefly logging into PayPal to view an app’s pricing, or finding recurring charges months after they thought they had cancelled. As of mid-2026, the BBB had logged 182 complaints against Welltech Apps Limited over the prior three years, 96 of them classified as billing issues, with reported charges ranging from roughly $36 to $99. Several complainants describe difficulty reaching the company to cancel.5Better Business Bureau. Welltech Apps Limited Complaints
How to Cancel the Subscription
Cancellation usually needs to happen where the subscription is actually being processed. That’s not always the app.
Through PayPal
If the charge reads “PAYPAL *ACTITECH,” the recurring payment is set up as an automatic payment inside your PayPal account. On the website, open Settings, then Payments, then “Subscriptions and saved businesses” or “Automatic Payments.” Find the Actitech or Welltech listing and cancel it. In the PayPal app, tap the menu icon, then Subscriptions, choose the merchant, and select “Stop Paying with PayPal.”6PayPal. What Is an Automatic Payment and How Do I Update or Cancel One
Through the App Store or Google Play
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you have to cancel inside that store’s subscription management settings. Cancelling in the app itself, or on PayPal, won’t stop a store-billed subscription.
Through the Yoga-Go or Welltech Website
For subscriptions started on a Welltech website, the terms say cancellation must be completed before the next billing cycle begins to avoid the next renewal charge.1Yoga-Go. Terms of Use
How to Dispute the Charge and Get a Refund
Cancelling stops future charges. To claw back money already taken, use the dispute process for whichever payment method was used.
Credit Card
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you can dispute unauthorized charges or billing errors by sending a written dispute to your card issuer’s billing inquiry address. The letter must reach the issuer within 60 days of the first statement showing the charge. The issuer has to acknowledge the dispute within 30 days and resolve it within 90 days, and you can withhold payment on the disputed amount while it’s investigated. Federal law caps your liability for unauthorized credit card charges at $50.7Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges
Debit Card or Bank Account
For charges pulled from a bank account or debit card, banks generally have 10 business days to investigate a reported unauthorized transaction. If the investigation runs longer, the bank must issue a temporary credit for the disputed amount, minus up to $50. Most disputes must be resolved within 45 days, or up to 90 days for certain transaction types. Your Rights Under the FTC Click-to-Cancel Rule
The FTC’s click-to-cancel rule, finalized in October 2024, applies directly to the kind of enrollment and cancellation practices consumers describe with these charges. Sellers must make cancellation at least as easy as sign-up, get clear informed consent before charging, and conspicuously disclose material terms, including auto-renewal, before collecting billing information. Violations can bring civil penalties.9Federal Trade Commission. If you believe you were enrolled without clear consent or that cancellation was made unreasonably difficult, you can file a complaint with the FTC or the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
